for bottle neck cases, specifically .308, 30-06, 30-40, 30-30, 303 Savage, and 307W, kinda one size fits all. Anyone used it? Oh, and 30 Rem, too. Results?? sundog

Yes, and I like it. I use it on .30-30 & .308. I crimp all my rifle loads (even jacketed) in a separate operation and both the Lee Factory Crimp and the Taper Crimp dies in various calibers work well for me.

You got me all excited, because I like taper crimps. But then I read in the Lee catalog, that the taper crimp die doesn't offer any advantage for owners of Lee die sets made after 1986 because the crimp angle is the same. I have a set of Lee dies for most of my calibers already. But if you have a non-Lee die set, then of course, YOU NEED THIS DIE!
I guess, or not. Whatever. I need a 30-30 factory crimp die because my Deluxe Rifle Die set didn't come with any type of crimper, just a 'dead-length seater'. Wouldn't even unbell my brass. Hmmph. Stan

I only shoot cast in my rifel, and have acqired along the way a Lee crimp die for 30-30.I am looking for a roll crimp die as we 'speak'.
I have a Dillon as well so can afford to let one go.
It looks to be the 'collet' type crimper when ya look down the die barrel there's 'fingers' in a movable collet.
How about ten bucks shipped?
all it says on the die body is Lee-30/30 win-k1
I'll throw in a Lee lock ring if ya need it...or a dillon,ur choice.

Hey, thanks for the offer, Throckmorton, but I just put in an order to MidSouth for a bunch of stuff including that Lee FC die. Stan
