what is considered to much seizing

I have a mold that cast superb bullet for my 4570 they dropped from the mold at .463... My question his .. if I seized them to .460 will it affect accuracy...alloy used is wheelwheight.... thank you...

ive sized .460 45/70 bullets down to .453 and shot them out of a colt with good accuracy.

I wish it droped a .463 bullet

Canuck4570, It's not so much a question of how much or how little you [re]size CB's, but whether you do so concentrically. With the old, untapered sizing dies this was a serious concern. Add a misaligned lube-sizing machine and you have the worst of all possible outcomes. Buckshot and I have independently attempted this, from .326" -> .314" (in a Lee .314" push-through sizing die) in my case with no ill effects; i.e., with no loss of accuracy. It wasn't easy to do and I'm certainly not eager to repeat it, but it did prove a point.

Elmer used to size 458 to 452 to use in 45 colt before he went to the 44 special.

I regularly size Lyman 314299 from .314'" down to .310" for my NRA Sporter Springfield and enjoy excellent accuracy.

Yeah, a push through Lee sizer will work fine. I wish I had that .463 myself!
