Just got a lyman lube sizer and a couple lee 6cav molds. Where do I get the appropriate top punches?

There are a lot of RCBS and Lyman top punches that will work fine on Lee boolits. I use them all the time since I like the fact Lee has 6-cavity molds. I do have some RCBS molds that I use, too.

Anyways, just print out the page from the RCBS catalog with the boolits and they are pretty close to actual size. Just match the nose profile of your Lee boolits with the RCBS page and that would be the right top punch.

A good example... I use the Lyman (don't have the number handy) top punch for my .224 boolits (225646) with the 8mm Mauser boolit from Lee. Works great and doesn't deform the nose at all.

If you can't find a punch to match your Lees, PM Buckshot on this board. He will make you blank top punches. You oil a boolit, place a little JB Weld inside the blank and stuff the boolit in. Makes a perfect fit.

I just did this for my group buy Lee H&G 68 clone. It is actually a better punch than either Lyman or RCBS makes - no tool marks inside it so no marking of the boolit.

Buckshot does excellent work and is not expensive.
