is any one using the saeco # 065 mold? it is a 180 gr swc bb .452 mold.

Yes, I use that one. Mine weigh 186 grs ready to load in WW alloy. My favorite load is 3.6 grs of Clays which has a velocity of 730 fps in my 5 inch 1911. A nice light load that is very accurate.

I have that one in a 2 cavity. It makes good accurate bullets but I use a 4 cavity Lyman 452460 more than anything now.

randall i have the 4 cav lyman mold 452460 . was looking to get i new one looking at the saeco . which one cast the easyest? my 3 lee 190 gr swc that are discounted are going down hill. i have one lyman and could get another or get 2 saeco 4 cav . i cast for my action shooting and also 4 others. the saeco mold looks good. could some one send me 5-6 un lubed bullets fron that mold? thanks charles

The Saeco is easier to use,it makes good bullets easier, the bullets fall as soon as I open the mould and it's lighter. The Lyman makes accurate bullets too, only faster, but not as easy. The Lyman is about 1 year old and the Saeco is probably 20 years old.
