Why is the time of being online here and the time of posts so weird? What time zone does the site operate on?

Some run on local time but this one seems to be on GMT judging by the post time for your message is 10:31 PM and here (CT) it is 4:43 PM.

You can change the default time zone in the options under your User CP.
