Can anyone tell me how the Moly sticks to cast lead bullets? Liquid moly I can get but without a magic "binder" (which none of the commercial casters will tell me what that is) it doesn't stick.
I understand why the commercial folks are reluctant to tell, but since I don't buy commercially cast bullets, they're not losing money from me.

Thanks for any help,

The Capt.

I bought from Kano Labs(Kroil) a moly aerosol. It sprayed on, left the bullets on newspaper and it dried. These were jacketed, but I'm sure they would work on lead. The moly is gray in color.

In the Lyman kit it's tumbled with the bullets and steel pellet media. Its driven into the lead.

You can buy powder moly at Midway USA. I use my tumbler to lube my bullets. It would be wise to have a extra bole. It is Lyman super moly superfine grade 6 Oz for 22.49. That will last you a life time. A little will go a LONG way. I have some #5 & #9 buck shot in my bole so the bullets will lube better only about 5 min will do good use very little powder.
