All my usual suppliers are out of molds, sizers, checks, etc. for the .32 special. What is there a sudden revivel in this old cartridge? Figures, just because I am needing fixings myself!

I orders all of the above from Midway before christmas, maybe I got the last box on the shelf (sorry 'bout that!). Could be just part of the high demand for reloading and casting supplies right now.

Nice round though I have to say. Could also be some renewed interest due to dispelling of longstanding myths in the last couple years.

From all the out of stock listing at the online catalog sites I think Christmas was a good one for firearms related items. That or they fell into the boo ho economic forecast and short ordered.

Just about anything to do with an AK or AR is out of stock.

Then with cast bullets becoming more popular. Dusting off the old 32 Special is a natural.
After all, in theory, it's an even better cast boolit launcher than a 30-30.

What's a favorite mold for this? I'd like to have the base slightly above the neck-shoulder juncture, and an OAL that would allow feeding from the magazine.

Not in theory, but fact when considering the 16 twist of the Winnies. ... felix

I bought all the 32 fixin's last fall, not because I had any particular in interest in the 32 Win Special for it's own sake. I simply lucked into an old Marlin and decided to give it a go.

Both Midsouth and Midway say they have the RCBS Mould. Regards, Woody

Felix,
Thanks. That's an awful purty boolit. Lot of their stuff is nice.

I usually shoot the Lyman 321297. 14 gr of H or IMR 4227 skip the gascheck. When I load hotter I add the check. Crimped in the crimp groove functions perfectly in a Win. Model 94.

That 321297 appears to be pretty scarce. Ive not found one yet,and ive been snooping for about a month. How does it compare to the rcbs 170?

I just bought a 327 Magnum and dumped a .38. I ordered a mould from Midway and I am trying to find some brass.

Low recoil but good ballistics and thrifty on lead and powder. I like thrifty.

Neat little 3" tube on a 6 shooter by Charter with a decent trigger even new.
