I'm not Wayne:mrgreen:, but I recently bought 1000 Auto Rim cases from Starline. It is excellent brass by ANY measure. They are pretty dern convenient to use, also:mrgreen:.
I use them for both target loads in my 625's (195 gr H&G #130's) and will be loading up some heavy loads with the Lyman 454424 (260 grs). Keeping the heavies in Auto Rim cases will absolutely prevent me from accidentally getting them into one of my 1911 platforms.

Not that you'd be likely to mistake the 454424 as a standard 1911 45 auto bullet, anyway.
I do get the intent, though.
I haven't shot my Starline brass enough to really definitively say anything about case life yet, but I can tell you I haven't lost any to splits or anything else.

I didn't explain that very well. I often shoot with buddies and it will also keep them from picking up the heavy loads to try in THEIR autos, also (and if I get absent minded:roll:).

Good morning MERRY CHRISTMAS !!!
I have been buying Star line for many years and have no complaint. It seems uniform to me and is made of good material. You will here some gripes that a certain caliber is to thick to hold oversize boolits.... but starline is uniformily thick . No case failures and ALL have a nicely centered flash hole in all I have bought.
sounds great to me one problem solved , where to get auto rim brass, happy holidays rojo

MERRY CHRISTMAS !!!
www.starlinebrass.com... Buy direct from them. They ship to your door usually in 3 days.
Many items require the need to buy in 250 lots... but you can always sell the excess for whatever you have invested.

Missionary, If you had 250 cases of something, why would you sell part of it instead of buying another 250 or so?

top brass makes it too and is good stuff.
