Found on evilbay
Have no idea what it is.
Some kind of press, powder drop all in one.

That is a Ballard press. There are at least three models I have seen. I have one. Nothing in print anywhere that I have located mentions them. Mine has two sets of dies for the 1871 50 USN pistol cartridge. Looking at the paint color and the method of construction they seem to have been made around the end of WW2, and probably in California.

Dang, Pressman, is there anything you don't know about old reloading tools? Seriously, I am always interested in things like this and so glad that there is still a subject matter expert or two around.

I'm guessing the dies, are not like standard dies we use today????

Has that press be welded (repaired) or is that a rough casting or something else? It's an amazing specimen of reloading history!

The link arm has been repaired. C shape arms are a lot weaker than they look.

Te dies are unique to this press.
