I was just sent a short movie clip on the Armed rebellion by the citizens of Athens and Etowah Tennessee in the 1946 Election, which resulted in the corrupt officials being dealt with in a timely manner. It would appear that history can repeat itself and perhaps we can see why certain corrupt groups are so hell bent on bringing President Trump down. I for one would never push true Americans too fare as they have giant brass ones and the right to be armed in defense of their Nation, from enemies foreign and domestic. It is ironic I also took such an oath when I joined the Australian Army, yet it is illegal for a citizen to carry a pocket knife in ones own back yard now. If you want to see what your soon to be comrade dictator has in store for you, just look to Australia. God help America. Regards Stephen

Stephen:

Thanks for the title. I saw the movie many years ago, and over the last month it has come to mind several times - just could not remember the title of the movie. Looked it up on Amazon Prime (listed) but it is currently not available. I'll keep looking to see what streaming service might have it. I would like to see it again.

How can this film possibly exist and be true? I thought the corrupt Leftist Democrat Socialists had re-written our history so that nothing is true except what they want the people to believe.

Stephen - thanks for the post - it's appreciated. You and the rest of our Aussie friends all have a very Merry Christmas - a safe holiday and hopefully 2021 will be a better year.

I have watched the full movie that Three44s so kindly put up. I think one would have to be hard hearted not to shed a tear at about the 9 min mark when a son first meets his dad in a wheel chair. Imagine these men coming home after 4 years of war and death in foreign lands, and having to fight again on their home ground. There should be a monument or such to these brave men. Regards Stephen

I have read that only about 5-7% of the population was involved in the American Revolutionary War. There were many supporters but few actually got involved. Just sayin.

Most of the street looters aka (peaceful protesters) already have nothing except criminal records, in other words, nothing to lose.
The ones of us on the other side have EVERYTHING to lose. Family, property, job, and being non- criminals. When, just as in the revolutionary War, good citizens become willing to risk everything they have ever worked for, and become treasonous domestic terrorist, things are going to get real interesting. It's amazing that most Americans don't know what the 56 men who signed the Declaration of Independence gave in exchange for a country to be born!

The story of the Battle of Athens (as published in Guns & Ammo October 1995), with some local newspaper articles from that time.

How can you vilify someone who lost so much for the creation of our Liberty? The left must demonize them.

I vilify them??

On the contrary! MOST gave their all, some their life, their families lives! I think it's shameful that most Americans don't even know about the cost. Most of these men where quite wealthy btw. If we have a few men show this kind of leadership today, many more will follow! The tree of liberty is looking poorly and wilted, will it die, or will it be watered by the blood of tyrants and patriots.

I apologize for the misunderstanding as my intent was to focus on the sacrifices made by the founders.

More over I see your two posts as two great contributions taken together!

I am asking rhetorically, How can the left vilify our founding fathers?

.... and they do do this? With all the tactics we have been witnessing.

I see the left extending this to anyone stepping up about the crooked election.

Best regards
