How is the Star at seating/crimping gas checks? I have one 41 mold that i use the horndaddy 416 check on that requires some force to seat on my Saeco and am curious how the Star with its push thru design will handle this, anyone?

My Star will seat a gas check on a plainbased bullet if you pull the handle hardenough. Seriously, nose first is the way to go. I've never had a problem and they stay on to the target. I can even use .32 cal GC on my .313 32-20 bullets and it crimps them and swages them easily.

You could try annealing your gaschecks before applying them too. It takes all the fight out of them, and they fit like they were cast in place.

MM, I have a SAECO and I am considering lengthening the handle (maybe replacing) to get more leverage. They seem to crimp fine, but it does wear the arm out a little.
