I melted down my first batch of WW today and cast them into Lyman Ignots. I also took pictures.:-D

Still waiting on getting my mold and a luber. I'm just going to order them from Lee since no one seems to be able to get anything in stock.

Must have been that full moon..... I did a 5 gallon bucket full ( $.20/lb) today also, nothing nicer than seeing a pile of nice shiny ingots waiting to become boolits. I hand sorted mine, testing with cutting pliers, only found about 15 zinc weights and a half dozen that appear to be steel. I did sort out about 15 lbs of gray painted weights marked AL MC or just MC, these seemed harder but not brittle. the last pot full I smelted these down and added about 5 lbs of soft lead, the resulting alloy seems fine.

Yes, safety glasses, closed top boots(cowboy style), heavy coat, welding gloves, and about a 20mph wind.:-D

Not new, they are just really clean. All of them have hammer marks on the steel clips. I should know, I removed some of them from the wheels, even.
