Hey guys,

I have had a set of .22 swaging dies on order from RCE for 11 mos now. :(

I'm starting to get a little impatient.

Any suggestions on where to go next?

Chris

I got a email from RCE tonight, my dies are ready along with everything else I ordered I think I did my order in September if not in August.

It all depends on where he was in production at the time. It is not necessarily first in first out. Once most swage die makers start making a certain caliber they make all orders for that caliber they have on the books if they can, then move to the next caliber and so on. So if Richard just got done making 22 caliber dies before you put in your order it could take longer that other orders. I believe both Dave and Richard Corbin work this way. It is much more efficient for tooling changes.

Wonderwolf,
Was your die set for .22 cal?
I called him today (23 Dec 08) and he said mid-January.
I guess we'll see.
Good news is that Ballard sold me a set recently so I can get some jackets made up and ready.

Still no signs of my .22 swaging dies from RCE.

Ordered on 1-2-08 !!!!!!

Is there any other place to go that sells dies like that for a reasonable price?

He lists a .224 swaging set for $482 as being in stock on his site.

That die set he lists in stock I've been told is a specialty set for some odd application.
