HI,
Seems I read somewhere (can't remember where) that a reloader could make his own gas checks.
Does anyone in our group make his own gas checks?
How good are the homemade checks?
How does one go about doing it?
Is there equipment avalable? From whom?

Corbin in Oregon also sells presses & dies for most calibers for making gas checks. Since Hornady quit making 41 checks I've been thinking of doing this but haven't yet.

And what Corbin want's for that equipment could buy someone gaschecks for a very very long time.

HI'
FOUND IT! INGIENUS!
About how many gc can you make in a hr. w/ your rig?
What do you use as raw gc material?
Did you ever make any of your tool to sell?
7mm, 357, 44 cals. are my focus right now.

Gosh boom boom,

Full auto questions there. Let's see...I use various materials for checks. For my 22's I'm using roofing flashing I get at the hardware store. For the other's I'm using a heavy gauge but soft aluminum. Sorry not making them for sale, too much work, and too many idiosyncrosies to explain how to use them.

Guess maybe that's why Corbin wants so much for his stuff.
