when reloading data says using a certain powder the case is filled to 100% does that mean up to the top of the neck or top of shoulder?:killingpc

It means "to the base of the seated boolet".

Neither, really. Fill to the bottom of the projectile, without compression usually. Fine ball powders appreciate a little air space to allow flame travel throughout the mass. No more than a few thousands of an inch is required in this situation. ... felix

Thanks guys, if I understand correctly in the loading data saying 104% fill I will have powder compression with the bullet used and 100% fill mean to the bottom of the bullet no compression.... thanks for info....:-D
