270 GC's???

Does anyone know where I can find .278 GC for 270win loads? Can 7mm checks be used , just sized down?

A quick search only shows direct from Hornady. $36.61/1000.

There's a post on here by 45Nut and Felix that says the shank size of the gaschecks.

6.5 is .252
.270 is .253
7mm is .250

If you can't find .270, I'd use 6.5's.

I have put 270 checks on 7mm shanks. They are a little tight to get on, I have to open them up a little first. Once through the sizer and you can't tell the difference.
