UPS delivery SW Louisiana

If you're sending anything to SW Louisiana through UPS plan on a long delivery time. I've got 4 shipments in Lake Charles that have been there over a week. I keep getting updates that they are delayed because of weather. Yet FedEx is in Lake Charles too and I received those shipments on time. And the USPS is delivering on time. I wouldn't care to much except some of the orders are to maintain my generators. I can't get the stuff locally as no one stocks them and they have to order too at twice the price to me.
Hurricanes suck.
