My son has a Hawken, and we'c like to pull the trigger assy out and tighten up the screw that adjusts the set trigge.....it is VERY loose and won't hold a setting.

Is the assy a 'group' that will come out as a unit,or are we liable to wish we hadnn't started this project?? [smilie=1:
I have worked on my cowboy guns quite a bit and do know one end of a sledge hammer from another.

The pull on the standard trigger is outragously heavy,so the set trigger would be very nice to have working correctly.
He has the rifle and manual, and the manual may cover this, but thought I'd ask in advance.

Merry Christmas, all.

You'll have no problem, might as well remove the sidelock and trigger assy, give it a light deburring, put a drop of loctite on the screws when you get them where ya want them.

It's broke... just send it to me and get another... if thats broke, send it as well :P

T/C triggers are not to hard to work with, Make sure the lok-tite you use is the softer type so you can clean it off and re set if needed.
