Lead $.10 per pound!!

Trying to start stocking up my wheel weight supply so that once spring rolls around I'll have plenty of smelting to do.

Stop a business today! They said I could have all their lead for $.10/lb. :mrgreen: I got all excited until I found that they only had 228 lbs. :sad: Oh well beggers can't be choosy.

Gotta sort thru it. Looks like a mix of wheel weights, battery terminals, etc.

I recently got my hands on 380lbs of old WW for $.10/lbs as well. Feels good to stumble over lead at that price.

A few days ago I found 170lbs but had to pay $.50/lbs. But you know what, I really don't care if I have to pay .10 or .70 or whatever. I just keep in mind what an obscene amount of bullets I can cast for a mere $20 or $30.

I just smile when I'm offered lead... doesn't occur that often, but then again I just recently started casting.
