45 Colt .452 samples

First of all I hope every one had a good thanksgiving today.

I am looking at buying a 45 mold, but undecided on which one to get. I am looking at 3 molds and was wondering if I could buy some sample boolits from some one that is casting out of these molds. I was thinking 100 of each, or what ever you’re willing to make. I of course will pay shipping and all the good stuff.

The molds are as follows.

Lyman 452664

RCBS 45-250-FN

RCBS 45-230-CM

452664 is all you need ,that rnfp feeds in levers, the crimp is in the right place, revolvers like it, and deer don't.
and you can shoot cowboy to 1500 with it.

Not to hi-jack your thread, but I too am interested in a good 45 long colt bullet. I will be watching for the favorites of others here on this great forum.

I have had good luck with the RCBS 250 FN. I use it as my low pressure bullet. The RCBS 300 SWCGC is my high pressure one. This works well if you have mixed pistols like I do and want to keep Ruger loads out of Colts by mistake.

Opentop, What are you going to shoot them in? I have no less than 5 or 6 45 molds. Shooting in SASS I love the 45-230-cm and have about 1500 already cast. I also have the RCBS 45-225-cav. The cav stands for calvary, it's a tc type bullet and works well in rifles in 45 Colt. I just went over to the "Dark Side" and these molds don't carry enough lube for the "HOLY BLACK". I now use the Big Lube molds sold by DD on the Cas CITY site. Will be more than happy to send you any of the bullets that I have. Take Care

I really like the boolits and they work great in my Colt as well as my Sig P220 .45ACP.
