My McAffee indicates spam on messages from this site advising me of personal messages. Plus 1 on where the REAL safety is.

I am skeptical there is a virus there. Yahoo search will run a scan too and it comes up clear. Place like that use a lot of scripting that may trigger some cross site scripting warning (XSS).

My wife told me last week that she had been told at work that there is a virus out there that will smoke a hard drive fast.

If you receive an e-mail with the word "postcard" in the title, shred it, unopened, as quickly as you can.

My son-in-law told me yesterday that the D.O.D. in Washington has a virus in their computer that is proving to be a real s.o.b. to get rid of, and naturally nobody has an idea how it got in their fool proof system?[smilie=1:

I always look for the AVG virus scan notice at the bottom of EVERY email before opening anything.

I have sent several to the "virus vault" over the last few months, but none from Sportsmens Guide.

I work at a military base. Two weeks ago we were ordered not to use ANY portable storage devices (thumb drives, flash drives, memory card, etc) on ANY gov't computer systems. Coincidence? ;-)

My understanding is that the mil 'no removable media' order was in direc
response to an infection.
