Hello all, Question:

I have a Lee Mould that is supposed to make 125gr boolits, but they consistently come out 130gr. I am using wheelweights for casting.

Any suggestions on loading. I would like to use Hodgdens Clays (cause that is what I have for my .45acp) for loading. The Hodgdon site does not show a loading for 130gr LRN, just 125 LCN (what is LCN?).

Thanks in advance, Roger

5 grains is only .4% increase in advertised weight, hardly enough to worry about. You should start from below in any case and then work up.

Your probabley using stick on WW instead of the clip on ones.

Because the stickies are straight lead they are indeed a heavier boolit.

As mentioned never start witrh the max load! Always use the start load or reduce by at least 10%, on most pistol powders.

All clip on wheel weights. I throw the stickies in with the pure lead I keep for muzzleloadering.

Awesome, thanks for the website! Bookmarked!

Thanks for the help, Roger
