I am thinking about getting these molds and want opinions. The 358-158RF would be for medium .357 loads and possibly .38 as well. I like the looks of it but really don't need another .358 mold. So, what has "need" got to do with it?

The C309-113F would be for a Ruger in .30 carbine. I use the Lyman .311359 for my rifle but want to try others in the pistol. Any one try this for the Ruger? I have used the Lyman .313226 with OK results but would like more weight and a flat point.

Any other thoughts on what would work in the Ruger would be most welcome. Beagle has already been helpful. If you have any molds of the carbine persuasion for sale, shoot me a PM.

I like my lee 358 158RF.

Good shooter in my 357 mag and my 360 Dan Wesson.

i use a rcbs 32-98 it pours out right at 313 but i use 32-20 brass in mine i had to deep seat in carbine brass. or trim and h-space off the boolit.
shoots good though.

I've got a ton of the 158RF cast up, unlubed. If you want a bunch to try them out just drop me a line.

The 309-113F is very accuraet in the 30 GI carbine but can have feeding problems. I solved the feeding problems in my GI by sizing to .308 and slight polishing of the nose of the loaded round to ease the sharp edge of the forward band.

The 358-158-RF is a very good general purpose boolit for the .38 / .357 and I highly recommend getting the 6 cavity mold. They are better quality than the 2 bangers and you can crank out boolits WAY faster!
