Double cavity mould? The one of the left looks like the mould was cold. Rounded corners/edges that should be sharp.

heavy lead is correct. the one on the right was cast as a soft nose WDWW and the one on the left is ACWW.9666
this inverse picture shows the line in the ojive where the soft and WW bond. I will try these out on bambi this weekend, and post autopsy photos if lucky.

I cast some last year from adifferent mold to try in a sabot from my ML but never got a shot.:sad: I found BruceB's thread about casting softnose.

....and I was going to guess about a quarter inch apart.
