GRAF advertizes Tubal 2000 mfg. by Vectan Powders for $70.00 for 8lb. I can't find any data on it. GRAF says it is an excellent 222/223 powder, and good for cast loads. Need words of wisdom on the stuff based on experiance. Thanks in advance to those who respond to this thread.

It's 4198 speed. All Tubal series are single base. I called them and they said they have no more in stock. Might want to try again. ... felix

............From the description in their catalog it sounded like a 4198 speed stuff. I took a chance and bought 32 lbs of it. It is a little less dense then H or IMR 4198 but it is close enough in burn rate to mimic possible lot to lot variations in the other two 4198's.

I tested it load for load in several firearms I had 4198 data on. In some cases it was within single digit average velocity spreads and others no more then maybe 30 fps? I showed the data to a buddy and he said, "Those Frogs stole our 4198!" 8).

If you do a search on this forum for Tubal 2000 (I call it T2K) you should see the post.

Yup, just did a search using Tubal 2000 and came up with all the data I'd posted since July. The most is located at: http://castboolits.gunloads.com/showthread.php?t=1865&highlight=Tubal+2000
