Butcher`s paste wax

I want to make my own boolit lube. Some of the reciepe`s call for Johnsons paste wax. Today I found a can of JPW in an old hardware store. They also had Butcher`s paste wax tha stated it was blended with carnuba wax. Has anybody tried using this wax in a lube reciepe instead of JPW? They also had a can of Trewax paste wax, this brand I don`t much at all about. Robert:-? :confused:

..................Never heard of Butcher's paste wax. Is that 'Butcher' as in an avocation, or 'Butcher ' as in a person's name?

I've seen it in a few hardware stores, they are famous for bowling alley wax.

Butcher's Wax was originally deveoloped to be used on the lanes of bowling alleys. It is probably the best wax to protect/seal wood.
