Does anybody shoot one of these in 30-06 ? I got it yesterday in a swap it was new in a beat up box . I have wanted one forever and am waiting on the sun to come up so I can give it a try with some 200gr Lee's over a case full of WC-860 . When I saw it at the gun shop and he was willin' to deal I just about flipped out . To say I'm happy is a major understatement ! James[smilie=2:

Well all is well , I think the wifey was a little testy but wtf . I shot this thing this mornin' and it does do well but I will have to put a aperture sight on it . It didn't lead with a 200 gr Lee at what should be about 2200 fps I only shot 40 pounds and it cleaned up easy with Ed's Red and Ballistol . I'm very pleased with this thing . James

40 pounds of bullets? 1400 shots or 40 pounds of powder? Probably more than 1400 shots. :kidding:

Have fun.

Congrats on the new rifle. I picked up the same one today. Was a used gun, but I don't think it has been fired. Post what you get to work in your rifle. I am going to try the LEE 165 gr that works good in my 30-30.
