257301 took a little adjusting had to raise my temperature to about 750f to get them to not wrinkle but I hope in time that it will smooth out and be like casting solids. I do love the way they look I just need to gas check them and see how they shoot. I am going to see if I need to check them before or after they are powdercoated.

Yep, got to keep them HP pins hot. Temperature will depend upon the alloy you are using. Having cast HP's for several years now, best advice I can give you is "if you want to have your hollowpoints work as designed, keep your tin content high and your antimony content low".

Also keep your temp up also and when the start to frost start to lower it some but not much . go by what the mold tell you. Not what you think , each mold have it own way to be use.I found that out also.

Hollow point and hollow base bullets can be a challenge. It looks like you did well.

Thank y’all. Once it Got the heat it wanted it was pretty Tested without gas checks from 1111 to 1257 with about 2.5” groups at 25 yards at 1111 and 1170 groups almost identical. One more step up to 1200 and they grouped right at 1” after that at 1250 and 1260 ( point of diminishing returns) the groups went to 5+”. The first 3 groups were in .5 grain increments the last 2 were in 1 grain increments. I am looking to retest with the gas checks installed. Bhn around 12 straight coww powdercoated air cooled.
