i just finished a 5 gal. bucket of w/w and ended up with 86.5 lbs of 1lb ingot . this info is for the person who asked how many lbs in a 5 gal bucket of w/w, i pay $7.00 at the tire shop for a bucket.

You guys are obviously talkin Mercan gallons here. If I didn't get over 100 lbs. in Canuck gals. I'd want a discount, lol.

A lot depends on the wheel weights themselves. If they came mostly from a tire place that does mainly cars the weights will be small mostly .5-1.5 oz. meaning lots of metal clips as waste. Now if you get them from a truck tire place like my last bucket you get lots of 4-6oz. wts and that ran to over 120lbs. for a rounded topped 5 gal bucket. Size does matter! Nick

I got about 75 lbs of pure ww ingots from my last 5 gal bucket packed to the top with ww's. They cost me 2 six packs of Harpoon India Pale Ale.
I now am on a schedule with the tire place that I get about a 5 gal bucket a month of ww's. It costs me a case of Harpoon IPA ($19.99 at Gary's) every other bucket. I must be in heaven.........no more scrounging ww's!
