Accurate mold handles

Just got my new mold from Accurate, and I hadn’t ordered handles yet since I wasn’t expecting them to arrive yet. I see the Lee 6 cavity molds come with a handle on the spruce plate. Do I need one of those for my 4 cavity mold?

You don't need it, but if it's drilled for it, you can use it. I prefer to break the sprue by hand, even on 5 cavity molds.

This is only my second mold. My other one is a 2 cavity lee and I just used a wooden hammer handle to smack the sprue plate. Is the handle even available separately?

I don't believe it is cut for it. Its not a big deal, I use my hammer style bullet puller as a sprue cutter. Others use wooden mallets or wooden hammer handles to open the sprue.

That looks like the same hole pattern that is on my Accurate 5 cav sprue plate which I use the Lee handles, I just cast 2700 bullets with it and to me it is a lot less fatigue than using a wooden hammer handle.

That is both the lever and the wood handle. All you need to find is a bolt and a nut.

I like to open the sprue by hand as well. Saves some wear and tear on your mold.

The cam does bear on the side of the mold. My Accurate 5 cavity aluminum molds are scarred up at that spot. Now I know that you can countersink or counterbore a flat headed screw or bolt there that becomes the contact surface and saves the mold.

Your four cav sprue plate looks like my five cav plate, with that bottom hole on the pivot side being where the cam handle goes.
