Well, I have lubed bullets with just Imperial sizing wax, 310gr 44 bullets, other than being a bit soft, worked like a champ, it is all I use for resizing cases.

What's the company name and address?

We can get that information from the MSDS.

Willbird, I've wondered the same, or maybe if it's a mix of mostly lanolin with something else? It IS water soluable, is it not? I don't have any, so am not sure.

I see no need to waste money on imperial sizing wax, when you can get bull shop SPEED GREEN for $3.50 for a 2 oz hollow stick. I just checked and it is about $6.00 for a 2 oz can of imperial, and the wax melts if it gets to warm and will foul the powder if it gets in there from melting.

He has a point, for sizing brass, a tin of it lasts a long, long time, as a bullet lube there are much better solutions, it works well, but it is a bit pricey.

I just tried it and it's not water soluable, behaves just like vaseline with water.

I've posted here before that I use a boot waterproofing called "Smiling Mink" as a replacement for Imperial Sizing Die Wax, and it works just as well. It also costs a lot less, the container I'm now using holds 4 ounces and cost $1.95. I made up some bullet lube using this stuff (beeswax, MMO, and the mink oil waterproofer), but haven't fired any of them yet. I can tell you that the resultant lube is so slick, I can barely hang on the lubed bullets! It's kinda pretty too, kind of pale red due to the MMO.

Marvel Mystery Oil.

Ahh... Sorry we don't have it here in Sweden.
But STP Oil Treatment is "very slick" too. I have seen it in lube recipes, with beeswax + paraffin in Saeco Green, and with paraffin + vaseline in Barry Darr's lube
