6) MEC SS77 Shotgun Sizer 12ga. It needs to cleaned up, a lot. It's currently seized up and there is no handle. Looks like it was previously welded and broke at the weld. I attempted to free it up with some penetrating oil, but no go. I didn't try very long because of the lack of a handle. $OLD

What is number 10?

It's bought and paid for, but what does it fit?

No 10 is the two turrets for primer punches and shellholders for the Hollywood Universal body presses.

No 10 is the two turrets for primer punches and shellholders for the Hollywood Universal body presses.

Are these the threaded shellholders?

The trade I made to get the coax had several of those and some regular lyman shellholders for the model 3 and some that are a smooth shaft with a hole just below the shellholder.

There are also a dozen or so threaded adapters to hold modern shellholders.

Some pieces I've never seen

Possom, Hollywood uses the "H" type shellholder. Same as used on the early C-H and other "H" type presses.

Bit damaged might be a bit of an understatement:groner:

They, somehow, broke a freaking cast handle and bent a primer arm. I swear, some people's kids could break an anvil with an egg beater[smilie=l:

On another note, bump it up:guntootsmiley:

It's a guaranteed fact that leaving the handle in a Herter's press when shipping is asking for disaster. Someone will drop the box and break the handle. I have several that arrived in that condition over the years. It's always maddening, though the handles can be welded back together.

When shipping something bulky like that, assuming I don't take the handle off, I like to wrap them in a few old towels or blankets. Newspaper and styro peanuts are useless when shipping heavy items. I take the stocks off rifles and shotgun also, had too many cracked ones delivered to me. Just picture someone dropping your package off the roof of your house, if it won't survive that it may not survive the USPS or UPS!
