I couldn't resist.. I wasn't going to let no overtemp switch ruin my plans..

Whew!!! it didn't have an overtemp switch

$11.00 Burner.. Rural King - just a touch more expensive than amazon..
$3.00 Stainless Dog Food Bowel.. Rural King

4 - 1/4-20 bolts, 12 nuts, 4 lock washers, about 2 feet of 19ga wire.. already had all this..

Made a fence so the pot couldn't get knocked off..

At the 3/4 temp setting it takes 28 degree F range lead and turns it liquid in 17 minutes.. Hold about 10-12lbs.. I think I need a bigger bowl...

Hmm.. the more I work with this the more it looks like it holds about 20lbs.. and the more it looks like it takes about a 20 minutes to get to liquid...

Ladeling is kinda fun though..

Glad it worked and that I was wrong about the switch . if you were comfortable taking it out it would have been a moot point anyway.... enjoy...Dean
