Strange thing happening when I post a reply

Just started happening.
I don't know if it my computer, or part of the new upgrades.

When I try to post a quick reply to a thread, it hangs up.
Then it opens a new window in a regular reply, that has the title and everything.
If I type in a title, and click post, it tells me I am posting to fast.
Need to wait 15sec and try again.
I just ignore it, go back to the treads, and my reply is posted.

Something might be wrong with the quick post function.
Might also be my computer. Have it set to up-date automatically.

side note: I find it necessary to "restart" my computer once every couple days, while my computer isn't that old, it was a back to school cheapy, so it doesn't have a fast processor or a lot of Ram...So as the windows10 malware/spyware pile up, my computer slows and gives my "lock ups", much like you describe. When I do a Restart, everything speeds up, so I assume things get cleaned up by doing that.

I had the same problem last night too. Would leave reply and it just kept cycling. I finally left and came back and found it had posted. It was very near the time you originally posted. 1:45 am. (Insominia) Was probably the update gremlins.

I've had a similar thing happen to me in the last couple of days on multiple occasions. Too fast a reply, do I want to leave the page, I can't post multiple times, I need to refresh the string or something...

I think it was happening to others.
I've seen double post, with the same exact message.
That's what happened to me.
It seems to be good now.
I wonder if it had something to do with the strange "pod" found and posted here?????
Are we being invaded by beings from outer space????
If so, I just hope they get rid of the damacrats.

Yep same thing with quick reply and some threads take two or three trys to open. I'm not sure these upgrade are working...:coffee::coffee:
