Howdy folks, I've been gone for a while, been shooting skeet and trap a lot and kinda lost touch. I dusted off my 25/20 the other day and discovered that bullets for this rifle are not as available as they once were. So, thinking that one of you guys just might be casting bullets for sale, maybe I could get him to cast some gas check bullets in about the 75 to 85 grain weights for me. Anyone here do this? Or maybe someone here knows where I can get them? thanks----joel

+1 for Missouri Bullet Company. The Lyman 257420 casts a 70gr GC bullet that works quite well. Bullet Man Dan on GB sells a nice GC bullet also. Apologies for the screenshot, I've not figured out how to attach an auction link.https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20191015/f0e6377307a6e719b1a2cab7a010f7e6.jpg

Hey redhawk44, my friend ran into the same issues - no bullets (also had issue with no cases, found those after weeks of surfing the web haha).

We got a couple of moulds from NOE. They run about 64 and 84 g lubed (Carnuba Red) and checked.

If you are interested in either, I'll send a few to see if you like em.

I believe NOE is running a special on a .25 cal 75 gr bullet now. Not gas checked, but he probably has a gas checked version.

Charlie, that one was designed for airguns - not saying it won't shoot with powder behind it, but airguns have some special needs.

Anyone looking for a mold for the 25-20 should check out the NOE 260283, I have it in a plainbase version and it's about all I shoot anymore. The Lyman 257420 I have always worked well, just wanted to do away with the gas check.
