Good morning with my daughter today!

My oldest is starting to enjoy shooting a few of my F class guns. This morning we rolled out my Remington 700 with a 221 Fireball McGowen barrel that I have had for years. When the stars align, this thing will shoot very tight 100 yard groups with a good 52 or 53 grain match bullet... if you do your part. She is still working to get breathing under control and confidence with a 1.25 oz. trigger. But, something tells me she is going to out shoot me one of these days. She also enjoys my 222 mag 40-XBR, but she is not quite as good with it yet. These 50 rounds were load development, I had the brainstorm to try the old 2200 Data powder. I am going to spend more time with it, shows promise.

Nope, tree moving. It has a set of hydraulic claws on the front. The little one in the background is an old IH 284 4x4 and there is an old IH 560 in there as well. My personal range... She has been shooting since she was 5, started with a single shot 22 and now she loves AR's, bench guns and semi-autos that will fit her tiny hands. Oddly enough, she also loves 1911's? Did well with this one, she is going to be an ultra conservative voter and thinker.

Good for you. They grow up fast. I am so proud of my daughter who is now a Physicians Assistant. One problem though - she is a liberal. Oh well, still proud as all get out.

We have two daughters and when we shoot, I have to be on my toes or they and my wife of 55 years will out shoot me. I love it.

lightman, we did. I only shot 6 rounds of 223 in the AR that day. I spotted and she shotted! It was relaxing. She and I did have to fix one of the 100 yard tie plates that we use for 223 up to 30-06, someone shot the chain into... That was to much like work, had to haul it in and back, cut a link here and there and then hang it again.
