Does felix lube requuire the use of a heater in a Lyman 450 lubesizer or is it workable without the heater? Thanks for any help, still want to try this stuff.

Tom, Felix Lube can be softened, via adding petrolatum, to suit. My lube sizers and reloading bench are in an unheated basement whose temperature is now ~55 deg., but I never use the [lube sizer] heater to get it to flow. Ditto for Lyman SuperMoly.

THanks. Should be no problem for me then, basement one of those new fangled prefabs with insulation and stays in the mid sixties.

I went with twice as much parafin as bees wax with my last batch . this batch is still softer than RCBS green .

I never needed to heat it , not even in winter. ...Buck
