Bump for a Pard.

Just a thought for some of you that may be contemplating buying Linotype. Linotype is an excellent bullet casting material, especially for hot pistol loads and high-velocity rifle loads. For rifles, a gas-checked, lubed Lino bullet can be fired at near- j word velocities ... and cheaper than j word bullets.

An excellent use of Lino (with its high concentration of tin and antimony) is to “sweeten” soft lead alloys and increase their hardness and casting quality.The Lino spacers the Pard is selling lend themselves to weighing to offer a handy means of determining how much to add to a soft alloy to approximate harder alloys. Elsewhere in the “Cast Boolits Forums” you can find formulas for what weight of Lino to add to various softer alloys.

The price seems right — compare it to other vendors on these Forums — and includes shipping.

I have a sufficient stock of Lino (and Monotype which is even harder) to meet my needs or I’d consider purchasing some of this.
