Our nation is forever grateful for the sacrifice made by our Gold Star Families and their personal sacrifice for freedom. The AMC Command Chief and my SIL were humbled to join more than 100 Gold Star families for the dedication of Dyess Air Force Base Memorial Park, to honor their loved ones' sacrifice.

As a gold star Son, I might have to drop by and take a look at that one day.

Nothing but tears of joy, appreciation, and gratitude coming from my eyes. Maybe visiting that memorial will be easier than visiting the families of those I lost.
