What kind of accuracy did you get with this bullet? Want to load up some lighter bullets for blem-blaming! The discontined Lee 402 HP is my go to hunting bullet. Have a supply paper patched like Mathews did his-very accurate. Casting getting ready to PC some to load up. James

We used it with good accuracy in a Marlin Cowboy of a friend's and a .450 Marlin P14 Enfield/Shaw. 3 shots in 2" @ 100 yards. As cast over Unique with LLA.

It's done well in my H&R at Trap Door levels, 30 grains or so of 5744.

I'm using this boolit in my newly acquired 45-70 1886. Started out with 50gr load of IMR3031 at 1804 fps. Acuuracy sucked and it was very abusive in recoil. Dropped it down to 42gr and accuracy improve just haven't shot it enough to see if its where I need it to be . Also waiting on a bolt peep site to come in as my old eyes just don't do Buck horns anymore! My goal is 2-3" at 100 yards! So I can reliably smack a deer at 200!
