Picked this up yesterday at what can only be described as a working mans gun show.
Been attending this one for about 15 years, small maybe 30 tables, always crowded, always fun, always something to buy. Walked buy this one three or four times and then couldn't walk by again. He was asking $299.00, for cash I got it for $250.00, seemed like an ok deal. It has half a receiver site on it, I might have the other half to fit, not sure yet gotta root through the sight drawer. Was also looking at a 35 Rem in a 336A but that was $100.00 more. Anyway now I gotta get new dies, new molds, new cases, and make a new size die. Funny how that works.

From what I can tell looking at the picture you have pick up a beautiful gun at a heck of a deal! Always help to let your "boolit noodle" second guess your better judgement cause later your better judgement will say "I wish I would have"...

Dragonrider,

You can turn 30-30 cases into .32 Special cases by just running them through the .32 dies :)

Sorry Mainiac, much to my wifes discontent I am going to keep it.

Grandarus, thanks for that tip, did not know that. I have a multitude of 30-30 cases.

Great looking gun! What year was it made. A word of caution. Mark your reformed brass so you don't confuse the two. You might want to check out Marlinowners for more discussions on that great looking gun. Congrats!!!!!!

A few years ago GPC had a sale on M94 32 special barrels. I bought 6 for like $35 each and althugh the blue wasn't perfect they were excellent inside. i barreled one up for me for a cast bullet gun and in less than 2 months I had every barrel gone and had put them all on 30-30's for friends. I sure wish I had kept a couple of those 32 special barrels as i have a 30-30 now that begs to be a 32. That is one FINE cast bullet gun.

No need to keep the brass seperate. If you have both the 30 and 32, size all cases to 30, and then expand to the bore needed. Thank goodness for the headspacing on the rim. ... felix

32 WS brass is available, why not use that? Having reformed 30-30 brass to 32 WS runs the real risk that someone will put it in a 30-30 with a loose chamber and then have a nice kaboom - even if it is marked with a felt pen or otherwise. Correct headstamped brass is the better solution in my opinion.

It is a great cast bullet gun. I use an NEI mould and H322 powder
