If it's wearing a metal top hat, it would be called a "bullet" instead of "boolit".

What about a half jacket? I draw the line at swaging vs casting. A gas check is put on with a sizer, a half jacket is swaged on.

That is what I call it also. If it have a half jacket then it is just a bullet not boolit.

I always thought a gas check still was considered a boolit. You still have to lube or PC it.

Are there any competitions that say lead boolits only? What do they say about gas checks?
