Today is April 27 2019, it's 11am Central time and it's snowing here in southeast Wisconsin and from what I understand we are under a Winter Storm Watch with up to 10" expected AGAIN! This will be the second time this month. I can't take this anymore, I'm going to go hide!

I feel your pain. It's 71 degrees here, at 9:07 AM. Dry and sunny. I have to go out and mow the lawn.

When your last frost is usually June 10-20 I really don't see what the fuss is about. In Montana right now, we are preparing to send some water downstream whether the rest of the Missouri river is ready or not.

My step-daughter called and said it's snowing in Lansing, N.Y. She lives on Cayuga Lake, and works at Cornell university.
Lori and I went to Auburn today and it was 80 without a cloud in the sky.....

I'm not sure that I could take another significant storm. We had an 8 incher two weeks ago and I threw 2" of my driveway out into the yard. I have 8" deep mud ruts right now. If it snowed 10" I'd probably need to wait until it melted, or I'd do more damage than good clearing it. I took the chains off the tractor today, and I'd like to change the oil in the snowblower gearbox tomorrow and take that off as well. The link below pretty well sums its up this week.

Well i hate to say this but yall are welcome to it. I don't mind a little dusting but i refuse to live anywhere where snow is measured in feet. As for one it wouldn't hurt my feelings if i never saw snow again. Now i like cold weather just not snow. No really i feel your pain.

We had snow furies on & off all day long, sometimes so hard we couldn't see the road below the house. Nothing sticking tho. We've had so much rain around here, everything is mud. Lots of washouts of roads & ditches. Trees are starting to bud and lawn is green, but no way am I even going to attempt to mow it. Tractor will sink to the axles. If this keeps up, the few dairy farms left around here are going to have a hard time getting fields ready for planting. Same conditions as last year. They never got a second cutting and lots of corn & sorghum never got harvested. They had to buy forage all winter long, and still short till new crop comes in, if it ever does.
So much for global warming! Where's Ozone Al when we need him???

And I gotta put up with crappy weather for 8 months until the good weather comes back.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=X9VEM4KdgSY

Silver helmet with the GoPro is me, couple of year old video, clocked 56 mph via GPS with mediocre ice and not enough wind that day. If you see a black sail in here(not sure if I caught John in the video) the guy sailing it turned 81 3 months ago. He was out sailing this year. He hopes to beat the 99 year old that was sailing in Wisconsin this year.

Everybody's idea of good weather is different. I've 6 of these beasts in the barn. Smallest is 8 feet, biggest is 24.

The one in the video is 32 feet, belongs to a buddy. Originally built in '37. Spruce and Mahogany work of art.

Well today there are blue skies and bright sunshine. Looks as though it's melting fast. Wasn't nearly as bad as was called for, seems we only got about 3 or 4 inches. 15meter the iceboats are fun. I see them all the time on Lake Geneva which is a couple miles long.
