I am using a #4 with some JB weld inside to shrink the drop some but would rather do it right. Have been looking on e-bay but nothing has come up.

Springfield -
I thought I remembered that Texan loaders used the RCBS/Pacific "standard" shot bushing outside dimensions.
I found a seller on EBay who also quoted the same "fact".

The Hornady or RCBS (Pacific, PW, Spolar, Bair) shot bushings are easy to find/purchase. Their outside dimensions are 0.996+/-" deep, and .996+/-" OD. What is your desired shot weight, 1 ounce lead? I've even got a spare in that I could send you.

Good luck, GarrisonJoe

The Pacific powder bushings are the same as the Texan shot bushings. The Hornady shot bushings are much larger. I just bought one on e-bay to check and they won't work.

I'll check some stuff I have. Its at another location. A box of old Texan stuff. A bunch of bushings. I'll get back tomorrow unless you find one before.

I don't need them right now but I don't yet own a #1 and #2 shot bushing. I am trying to get the complete set, never know what you might need.
