Any one recognize this boolit?

It was given to me cast. No information. They appear to have been "hanging around" quite some time. they where dark as if softer lead. I washed in warm soapy water, warmed to dry then 4-5 washes in clean solvents. In the end, they where not as dirty as they appeared to be.

Its .362/4 dia and weighs 270g as cast.

Said to be WW & the tested BHN is 15 on my LBT scale.

It appears a PB bullet/No Gas Check, But whom ever cast didn't have great base fill-out.

I have about 150-175 of them.

For use in 9.3 X 57 or 9.3 X 63 or maybe the 9.3 X 68. 9.3MM something for certain

My thought was 9.3 but isnt that .366? (I dont have one)
These are smaller but large for 358. ( I size mine to 360)

Yes, I powder coated green. Thsts why I went to tbe trouble of cleaning them. ;)

The bases on those look to be a smaller diameter than the other driving bands. Maybe for breech seating in a single shot target gun?

Looks like an old .35 Ideal design for .35 Whelen to me. I'll check my books.

I was looking more myself today. It DOES TAKE a GC!! It didnt look like it, but on my bench i have cheaters and With them I could see. I put one on, but didnt want to fisdle with installing a .360 sizer to size and seat the GC’s.

Ill try these then if the work well maybe try to find a mold... I like my 280 RM allot, but a FP would offer some extra “WHUMP”!
