NW Ohio, temp in low 20s tonight with snow and wind. Well at least the colder temps means the rain will stop. I was drawn for an early season turkey hunt next weekend. If it doesn't warmup some i will be loading ammo not hunting next weekend.

Briefly, for a several days the past week. Nothing budding yet but the majority of the snow disappeared. Tonight it's blowing snow, but it's halfhearted and not sticking around.
I need some warm weather for our grass runways at the flying club to dry up, hopefully we'll have a better spring than last year's cool and wet one.

Looking pretty good on the Gulf Coast and we had robins arrive last week in SE New Mexico.

We are having a cold spell right now, for a few days. The last few weeks have been nice. The Robins are out, we have a few Martins, the Doves are making noises and the trees have buds on them. I have been seeing Frogs and Snakes. The Farmers are working.

Snow flurries this morning, big wet flakes. Sunshine this afternoon, so not too unusual for this time of year in Kansas.

Bikerbeans, here in Medina County there's 3" of snow, hope you're fairing better. I'm supposed to go look at some property over by Vermilion today.
I kinda think that's not gonna happen.

I left New Orleans when spring arrived.

Came home to winter prison in Fargo ND.
Icicles on all the windows, snow piled 6 and 7 feet high.

Icicles are all gone, I saw bare ground yesterday which had 4 feet of snow on it a month ago. She's working her way north but gets distracted from time to time.

She'll show up eventually. Ol Mr Sun has a lot more power this time of year. Ol man winter is retreating, but as normal it is a fighting retreat. Still the sun will come, the grass will turn green, I suspect we'll see some water this year. Melt has come fairly fast for us.

The part I miss is that spring used to hang around through May and maybe into early June. These days we get full summer the last 2 weeks of May and June can be hot.

Put our garden in last week or some of it. Beets, potatoes, broccholi, lettuce etc. Stuff that won't mind a mild freeze. Rototilled the rest of the garden yesterday as it was almost 75 out. Daffodils gone buy, Magnolia's are blooming.

Well lucky if we have any snow left here in northeast Iowa and the redwing black birds show up about 2 weeks ago and now the turkey vultures show up the start show up on the 25th of this month and also the killdeers are here about the middle of the week and the daffodils are about 2" out of the ground. Also had got the canoe ready to start some fishing now.

It's colder than a witches kiss in high country Colorado. My car and bike are still on the trickle chargers. I noticed it's already 80 degrees in LA, this summer may be a scorcher for CA....

Trees are leafing out in Central NM. Blossoms. New tulips pushing their way up. A few robins. It was 85 degrees a couple of days ago but the next morning, it was 35 degrees. This morning, too. But it's cloudy and looks like we may get some rain.

Time to get out and start doing soil prep for the tomato beds!

It is here in Southern California and in full bloom. The hill sides are covered in bright yellow, orange and purple colors. All the fruit trees are also in bloom. The reserves can't handle the over flow crowds of people who want to walk among all the wild flowers. All the rain we got this winter is responsible for it.

Yep! It's written right there next to gravity. If you have a spare you'll never loose either one.

It's gorgeous in Big Sur after a 300% of normal rain year and some of the highest winds recorded.

It was below freezing this morning and windy.
Sunny, though...the weather liars are predicting mid to upper 40s F today.
Maybe spring will return later in the week.

It comes and goes, but not nearly as cold as some of you are experiencing. Today it's going to be clear and warm, with it starting to get almost summer again. But this early we still gotta be alert for tornadoes.

We are having spring here in Conroe Texas. The vegetable garden is up and running. Carrots three inches tall. Spinach full grown. Beets three inches tall. and etc. We have lows of 67 degrees F. this week. That is tomato growing weather. My five six month old puppies are getting to romp all they want. Now experienced ratters, moles, and squirrels. They are sure a lot of fun.

Spring? Yep, been here for a while now. All the trees are leafed out. Of course we had spring a few weeks ago and all the fruit trees bloomed and then it froze again! My fruit trees probably won’t make much this year. :(
But it was 73 today and supposed to be 76 tomorrow! And they say that it will be 75 or more for the next 10 days! That’s as far as the weather guessers will go! LOL

Yeah. We had Spring on Saturday & Sunday.

Today at 68-70F and it is now Summer.

Tomorrow, Tues, it is supposed to be mid 50s & blustery for another Fall season.

Wednesday should be about 35F & rain/sleet & so Fall starts moving into Winter again.

Wed, Night & Thurs, we have 7-11 inches of Snow.

Winter has returned in April.

Gotta luv Minnesota!

We get "All seasons, All year round.".

I think it made it here. The trees and bushes are budded out. My Bermuda grass is showing more and more green. The corn they planted behind the house 2 weeks ago is about 3" tall. The birds are acting frisky! The snakes and turtles are out. We sometimes have a frost around Easter but For the most part Spring is here.

Along with the budding trees, young folks running around without shirts and generally warm temps, I just found a baby copperhead in a mess of straw. My dog helps me "spread it around" and the snake took advantage. Yes it's dead now. Close to Ft Knox Ky.
