The world and especially the U.S. was saddened to hear of Johnnie Cochrans death. This hero was a pillar of justice. This brilliant man was able to overcome mountains of planted and contaminated evidence and use one minuscule piece of evidence to the contrary to free and innocent man. We all know if we took an evidence photo for example and placed it in the street and a car drove over it,that evidence would be contaminated. The unexplained phenomenon that the photo now looks like OJ Simpson occurs frequently. Despite all this corrupt evidence Mr Cochran was able to use the fact that the glove didnt fit. Not only use the evidence but make a poem. The glove didnt fit,we must acquit. Certainly we would not want the passing of such an ingenious and high integrity person as Mr Cochran to not be memorialized. A statue will come later as funds are available. But for now,I am undertaking a project to get streets renamed in his honor--the same way streets were renamed for MLK. As you might have already guessed, this will be an expensive undertaking. I will use up all my available funds for this endeavor. Once my funds are depleted, I will need monetary assistance to continue. You aint gonna believe this. All you have to do is mail that money to me and who knows, your town/city might be the first with a Johnnie Cochran Ave.

Wonderful idea, Ray! Maybe statues of Cochran could be erected near the gravesites of OJ's victims. Excuse me, I meant to say OJs wife and her friend who were killed by the REAL murderer whom OJ will soon bring to justice. curmudgeon

I feel your pain carpetman, my funds available for this worthwhile project unfortunatly are less than a stamped envelope. Could I tape it on the side of a postcard? As a major donor would I get a plaque too? I should at least be able to match your donation to cast boolits. Gianni.

Well I was going to announce to all of you that I got nice plaques made up with Johnnie Cochran's name on them to put at the sites of the victims graves, but they came back today and the engraver spelled his last name wrong, it come back as Johnnie Cockroach. I'll see if we can get them fixed.

Clarence Darrow--he wasn't. No loss to society, whatsoever.
