30-30 brass Winchester 1 fired

I buy these from a guy who must work for ammo company or gun company
they are once fired in a test pressure machine. some or all will have a small scribe etched on them from the pressure equipment.

does not affect reloading. I and others have reloaded other calibers he offer without issue.

Does the mark iron out with several loadings or is it there forever?

Not sure about it disappearing. Loaded some 06 just once more and it is faintly there

The mark is a small scribe mark,circular.

betting that polishing would get rid of it

If this is CUP measuring equipment it may be where the copper crusher sits when the case is fired. or the port for it.
