View Full Version : source for 60 grain .226 lead bullets

Need commercial source for this or something close. Have .22-15-60 brass and a line on a rifle to shoot it. Checked my usual sources an nothing so far.

I could possibly use .224 bullets. 40 grain or up may work. Only need a small supply and don't want to go into casting my own.

I sent you a pm. I forgot to say that I can also make them any weight you want. Which includes 60 grain

I just did a precursory search on that round. I suggest that you do some experimenting with the bullets. I read one post where a guys said that he was having best results with a 45 grain bullet sized to .228". So you may want to test .226,.227 and .228 starting obviously with the smaller. It also looks like a great candidate for powder coated bullets.
