My Lyman 4th edition cast book got burned up and was needing someone to post a picture of the section for the 270 Winchester with the RCBS 150 cast load. Any help would be greatly appreciated

Can you post range results with that? I shoot the Lee bullet in 270 Winchester. My bullet comes in at 136g with gas check. Works great, but I have been wanting to try a heavier bullet and have been looking at that mold or the NOE mold.

I use the Lee boolit as well and was looking at the NOE 160 grain plain base Loverin. I am very interested in seeing some range results with a heavier boolit as well! Here is a link to the 3rd manual with some more powders.

I have been loading the RCBS 150 for a couple of months now for (2) different 270 Winchester’s. I cast mine from a 50/50 mix of wheel weights and Linotype, with my mix my Mould drops them with a .280 body diameter and the nose at a .273 diameter. I size mine to a .278 and run Carnauba red lube. The 2 guns that I have been putting them through is a Thompson Center Encore 270 with a 15” barrel and a Eddystone model 1917 sporter, the encore pistol with the 15” barrel will stay consistent around a inch at 75 yards using
Rl-19 powder and the old Eddystone 270 sporter will do around a 1 1/4” 5 shots at 100 using
RL-7 powder.
